Highly anticipated and arriving as scheduled, CBST 2026 China International Beverage Industry Science & Technology Exhibition, hosted by the China Beverage Industry Association, grandly opened at Hall 2/3/4/5 of Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center from April 9 to 11, with a grand opening ceremony held on April 9.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Zhang Chonghe, former Deputy Director of the State Commission Office for Public Sector Reform, Secretary of the Party Committee and President of China National Light Industry Council, together with Mr. Jin Ze Zhang, Chairman of China Beverage Industry Association, gathered with representatives from nearly 50 Chinese and foreign beverage enterprises and core suppliers to witness this grand event.

During the ceremony, President Zhang Chonghe and Chairman Zhang Jinze jointly unveiled a splendid scroll, symbolizing a new journey for the industry. As the scroll unfurled, a magnificent chapter began, officially marking the grand launch of CBST 2026. With this highly ritualistic and innovative presentation, the event ushers in a brand-new chapter of high-quality development for China’s beverage industry.

Chairman Zhang Jinze delivered an important speech at the opening ceremony.

He pointed out that the beverage industry is currently at a critical juncture of transformation and upgrading. It is imperative to thoroughly implement the strategic plans for high-quality development in the sector, with scientific and technological innovation as the core driving force. Efforts should be made to achieve breakthroughs in key and core technologies, build a comprehensive nutrition and health ecosystem across the entire industry chain, strengthen international exchanges and industrial chain synergy, and continuously improve platforms for technological innovation, achievement commercialization, and standard alignment. By providing safer, healthier, and more diversified beverage products, we can better meet the people's needs for a better life, propel China's beverage industry to move up the value chain, and embrace new arenas in global industrial competition.
